Transferring Associations
Have You Moved Lately?
- Contact your local Association as soon as possible to request* a Transfer Form. Be sure to give your current address.
*Requests may be made in writing, by fax or email or over the phone.
- You must complete the form and return it to the association with which you are currently registerd. Your file will not be sent to the other affiliate until the association has recieved a completed transfer form and letter confirming your request for transfer.
- If you are transferring out of Nova Scotia you may be asked to return your Certificate or if you are interested in an associate membership, should you wish to keep your certificate and stay in touch with what is going on in Nova Scotia.
- Did you remember to pay your dues? A member cannot be transferred until all amounts owning to the association have been paid.
- Have you attained the required Professional Development credits? A member must be in compliance with the associations Professional Development Policy before the can be transferred
