CGA Nova Scotia Association:
An affiliate of CGA Canada, the national body representing more than 68,000 CGAs and students in the CGA program, the Certified General Accountants of Nova Scotia is a self-governing body, which grants the exclusive right to the CGA designation and controls the professional standards, conduct and discipline of its members in the province of Nova Scotia.
The Certified General Accountants Association of Nova Scotia is directed by a Board of Directors in accordance with the Association’s Act of Incorporation.
The Board of Directors approves the Association’s policies, strategic plan, budgets and tactical plans. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall management of CGA Nova Scotia operations, carrying out policies consistent with the strategic plan, co-ordinating the flow of all policy recommendations to the Board, keeping the Board informed, implementing the tactical plan and managing staff.
